Day two
Heading down for breakfast. (breakfast was french toast with gouda filled sausage and fresh fruit and fresh whipped cream. YUMMMM!!!!)
Into town.
(a heart on a hill)
antique shopping.
Laura is giddy for old school glasses.
Look at that! The biggest Work Boot in the WORLD!
Yummy treats from the local Confectionary.
Time to knit!
(Max likes my knitting)
After knitting, we had another wine & cheese hour with the other guests. Then, we drove out to Shady Grove for dinner. From outside appearances, you'd keep on driving. But the food was delish. I had coconut curry cauliflower soup with papapew peppers. And, of course, a vodka tonic.
After dinner, we went to a local gas station looking for liquor. (This was in Wisconsin) But selections were slim and it just so happens there was a liquor store across the street.
Oh no. Look out Kristy, that flame truck might run you over!
We bought ingredients to make our own vodka tonics back at the B&B.
But as we were going in, Vanessa looked real shady, yo.
In our room, we gave ourselves facials.
and painted our nails. (note all of the munchies!) (We also watched Breakfast at Tiffany's)
p.s. if you say that my drinks are weak, I strengthen them while you are in the loo. And then, we all get uber buzzed. G'night....
